Location: Chennai, India. Some remote too.

Work Specs: Some remote work possible. Chennai candidates should ideally have their personal transport. Typical office hours are Monday to Saturday with ample flexibility.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required. MBA or Post Graduate degree preferred.
2-7 years of relevant experience with research, analysis and communications.
Proactive creative entrepreneurial mindset.
Research, analysis and writing experience.
Excellent time management, multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
Flawless spoken and written English skills.
Ability to speak and read Tamil strongly preferred; Hindi useful too.
Knowledge of social media, community engagement, and design preferred.
Proficiency with MS Office, web & design tools.
Preferred: Expertise with MS-Excel and financial models for projects & ventures.
Experience with websites, graphics and video – preferred.

Responsibilities:
Supporting a growing international NGO and partner organizations.
Researching and fact-checking approaches, articles, and policy.
Project management, supporting field initiatives, and other duties as needed.
Assessing innovations and technologies for scalable impact in India.
Writing proposals, and communication with key partners & donors.
Public relations, press releases, social media and engagement.
Engaging with governments, partners and global foundations (India & USA).
Initiatives include rural, farmer, PPPs and citizen empowerment in Tamil Nadu.
Manage vendors, auditors, lawyers, accountants, consultants.
Researching and online filing for govt programs, compliance, NGO benefits.

Compensation:
Fixed pay and performance-based bonus.
