At 9am this morning, we launched our training programme preparing young people to advise companies. Over the next four weeks, we're covering everything from the role of business in society, to a formula for spotting greenwash; how to constructively disrupt mindsets, to managing imposter syndrome. Most importantly, this programme has been designed to help young people realise their power — not as “tomorrow’s consumers”, but as climate leaders deciding what the future of business should look like. One of the ways we're achieving this is through Youth Advisory Boards. I've consulted over 50 companies, but too often as the token young person. It's time to change that. If you want to hear from our incredible community of young change-makers, and understand the value in intergenerational exchange — send a message to partnerships@forceofnature.xyz #business #youthboards #genz #climatecrisis #climateaction #intergenerational
So great!
LOVE this!
Much needed - excellent 👌
congrats Clover Hogan 👏
Excellent initiative. We have lots of free resources in our knowledgebase which you may find helpful in developing programme content, in particular around the role of business in society. https://www.blueprintforbusiness.org/the-knowledgebase/
Great! We would like to have more information: info@rjcccr.org
Love this Clover Hogan. I and so many others have been advocating for genuine diverse representation at the level of institutional governance. With this, I hope there opportunity to engage in more thoughtful, participatory and inclusive decision making and design practices. Even if decision made at the top are more well rounded, considered and result from better representation, there’s still room for more distribution of influence. Given this, not surprised to see Jon Alexander tuning in :)
