US electric car maker Tesla is launching permanent services and opening its first sale and service centre in Lithuania and the Baltic states.
“Tesla begins to deliver the first vehicles to customers in Lithuania. […] Customers take delivery of their vehicles at our new location in Vilnius. It is our first Tesla Center in the region, with Service, Delivery and a showroom under the same roof, for the best customer experience,” the company said in a statement on Wednesday.
The new centre will now make it easier for Tesla owners to plan maintenance and track repairs on their electric cars.
The new Tesla centre is situated in Trakų Vokė near Vilnius.
BNS reported earlier that Tesla’s Dutch subsidiary Tesla International established a company in Vilnius last August.
In February 2020, Tesla representatives visited Vilnius, and BNS sources said at the time that Tesla was interested in developing a network of electric car charging stations in Lithuania and was looking for a location for a showroom.
