Bringing intersectional feminism and participatory approaches to research and evaluations| Fellow @ CIP |SRHR and invisible disabilities| Advocating for neurodiversity inclusion at the workplace
Feels like this happened ten years ago and also yesterday. Because this cohort and the friendships and the ideas emanating from this tiny, messy, experimental space feel so baked in. But also so fresh, so contemporary, so urgent.
So proud of this group and everything they're doing to make this a more livable world. Zindabad!

To everyone who will be at #CSW86, we are delighted to invite you to our in-person parallel event on Reimagining Resourcing for Feminist Movement-Building.
At the time when we need thriving plural feminist movements the most, they are at their most precarious. How can we - as CSOs, funders and philanthropists - reimagine how resourcing moves, plays and lands to meet this challenge?
Please join us at this participatory roundtable, which brings together voices from across Indian civil society and feminist groups to discuss the challenges, opportunities and strategies for resourcing feminist organising. While it will highlight Indian experiences, the discussion will also foreground emerging global themes around resourcing for gender rights and how we can collectively locate spaces of rethinking and action.
Date and time: Friday, March 15, 12.30pm
Location: Armenian Cultural Centre (ACC) Y room: https://lnkd.in/emvP5NPW
We will have limited in-person spaces. Please register here: https://lnkd.in/essGRRcZ or spread the word to those who are attending!

This is the course I am currently pursuing at IDS. And at a time of deep crisis in the world, and a growing personal cynicism about how change can really come about - I have found in this course and cohort a fierce politics of hope and belonging. I don't say this lightly or without thought - this has been a truly transformative experience (already). This is not because it is the greatest course in development, or even the best course at IDS, really. It just was the perfect second masters for me.
I wouldn't have pursued it with so much intent if it weren't for people who had passed out of the course who took the time to tell me why it was the right course for me. So if you're considering MAP (as we fondly and almost cultishly call it) but are unsure if it's the right fit, drop me a message. I'll be happy to talk.
✊Are you an aspiring or experienced or social activist?
💭To address rising inequality and the devastating impact of the social, environmental and political challenges we face, we need new ways of thinking and working.
🎓An MA in Power, Participation & Social Change at IDS will equip you with:
✅ Cutting edge theories of power
✅ Participatory research methods
✅ Modules on your area of interest (such as conflict, climate or health).
Students of this course have told us that it has shaped their world view in a way that no other degree could.

In one of the most hostile waves of global and national backlash against rights-based civil society and gender equality, what are the politics of funding? How are organisations and movements countering, resisting and subverting?
Speaking with Sudarshana Kundu and a few other important voices at this Institute of Development Studies convening on the 12th of December. Join if you can?
