Greg Martin is an Associate with Redpoint Ventures in Los Angeles, focusing on communications, Internet, and enterprise software investments in Southern California. Prior to joining Redpoint, Greg was an Associate with Brentwood Venture Capital, a firm he joined in 1999.
Greg is involved at the Board level with several of Redpoint's investments including Sabeus Photonics, TelASIC and Fandom.
Prior to joining Brentwood Venture Capital, Greg worked with an Angel Investor focusing on early-stage Internet and telecommunications investments. Previously, Greg worked with Donaldson Lufkin and Jenrette's Technology Group in Menlo Park and before that he was an Investment Banker with Smith Barney in their International M&A and Cross Border Transactions Group. Greg has also owned and operated a high-end men's clothing franchise in the Los Angeles area.
Greg holds a Bachelors degree in MIS/Accounting from the University of Calgary, and an M.B.A. with High Honors from the Anderson School of Business at UCLA where Greg was a Carter Scholar and a Venture Fellow.
