Great board book! Perfect for my 3-year-old. He's thrown it around, in the air, on the ground, and stomps on it... still in one piece and functions well! The poppers are sturdy and durable. My son's speech teacher showed him this same book, she said Shes had it for years. Great value for your money. It is somewhat heavy, so may not be safe for smaller babies, in case they drop it on their feet or hands. Storyline is great, interactive and interesting enough for my toddler. Recommend for preschool age children!

Heavy!
My grandkids LOVE this book, but when I tell y’all…. It feels like an Oxford Dictionary. It’s so heavy! It literally weighs almost 3 pounds. I will be honest, I was going to return it before the parents told me it was OK. I am a little nervous - I hope no one drop it on their foot!

It is an adorable and super fun way for kids to learn counting. The drawings are charming and engaging, and the poke-a-dot feature adds a tactile element that makes learning interactive and enjoyable.
However, there are a few issues that prevent me from giving it a full five stars. Firstly, the book counts down from 10 to 1, which feels a bit odd. I think it would be more intuitive and effective for children to count from 1 to 10.
Another concern is the durability. The book broke a bit after moderate use, which was disappointing. Additionally, the book is very thick and quite heavy for kids. Parents need to be cautious when their little ones try to lift it, as it can easily fall from their tiny hands and potentially cause injury.
Despite these drawbacks, the book is still a fun and engaging educational tool that my child enjoys. With a few improvements, it could be even better.
