Upcoming
Chewjitsu Seminars
A quick word about what will be taught at any of my seminars.

I’ve painstakingly combed through my Jiu-Jitsu arsenal to bring you the best and most effective techniques, concepts and ideas I have to offer.

I’ve cut out the fluff and prepared only the techniques that have made a massive impact on mine or my students game and those that are simple enough that you can immediately implement them into your own BJJ game.

I’m also a big believer in making sure your game works in a cyclically connected fashion. Meaning, 1 thing leads to the next.

And so to help you better understand the way the techniques I use work together I’ll be including a special flow chart that illustrates this with each seminar I teach.

This will help you better understand what I teach at the seminar as well as how you can incorporate it into your own style.

Now with all that said, I'd like to make this seminar .  . .
More than Just a seminar
Here's what I mean.

Over the years I've been to so many seminars! And oftentimes the techniques were amazing but there were a couple of problems.
The biggest problem was I'd forget all the techniques.
After being blasted with one amazing technique after another. Things would begin to blur together. And usually a week or two later I couldn't really recall anything that was taught.

I tried writing down notes during the seminar but because I was writing so fast to keep up with the instruction I wasn't able to pay close attention to the coaches and my handwriting turned into illegible chicken scratch.

I tried recording videos of the techniques which was better, but I found that I ended up being more focused on recording instead of all the details involved with the technique.

So even though I went to lots of seminars I lost most of what was taught.

The 2nd thing is less of a problem but. . .
most seminars always left me wanting more.
Probably one of the coolest seminar experiences I ever had happened after the actual seminar was over.

Here's what happened.

A friend of mine had reserved a room at a local restaurant and bar for his birthday. So after the 3 hour seminar followed by some rolling we all got cleaned up and hung out afterwards.

At the bar we were all able to get some food together, have a few drinks and hang out off the mats. It was also a great chance to talk with the visiting Black Belt who had taught the seminar.

I've never had this happen at any other seminar. It's usually just, "here's some techniques" and then they leave. Which is perfectly fine.

But I love getting to know people in the BJJ community better and so I always wish that there was a chance to get everyone together after the seminar.

here's What you get at my seminars.
So, since I'm in charge of my own seminar I wanted to put together something that would help me out and be something I'd like to attend if I were a student.

So I'm offering 2 seminars packages to you.

We'll have our seminar session, some rolling and then you can be off on your way.

Package 2 is more of the experience I enjoyed and would like to receive myself.

Gi And No Gi Instruction
When it comes to Brazilian Jiu-jitsu I'm a fan of both Gi and No Gi.

Truth be told, I believe my game is probably better in No Gi. This is probably due to my Wrestling roots.

But either way, what this means is that regardless of whether the seminar is in the spandex or pajamas, you'll be able to translated the techniques over to the other.

I'm big on making sure my game is transferrable to any Jiu-jitsu situation I find myself in so I don't like to do things that are too dependent on one style over the other.

Space is Limited
Due to the limitation with mat space. Each gym will be limiting registrations. And once they're gone, they're gone.

And once I secure the location for the dinner. That will be limited as well.
