#161 - Solo Travel Isn't Easy, That's What Makes It So Worth Doing

On this episode, I (Vinny) share some stories, thoughts, and powerful insights from my recent trip to Thailand, which left a profound impression on my heart and soul.

    Expect to learn:

     - About the beauty and the struggle of traveling solo, and how the highs and lows help us understand ourselves in a critical way.

    - What I loved about Bangkok and the epic little hostel I stayed at.

    - How travel doesn’t have to be about doing a bunch of stuff.

    - The pressure I feel when traveling to capture every moment and how I handle it.

    - Practical advice on how to prepare to travel by yourself, and how to navigate being alone once you’re there in that foreign place.

This was an episode very near and dear to my heart. I hope it inspires you to get out there, even if it’s just a short trip up the coast or an afternoon spent in your own backyard. Get out, get bold, and embrace this world we live in.

#159 - Timing Will Never Be Perfect; Do What You're Meant To Do Now

#159 - Timing Will Never Be Perfect; Do What You're Meant To Do Now

We often lose perspective of just how good everyday life is until it’s taken away and we’re dealing with something unexpected.

It can happen to us at any moment, any time.

So before that happens, open your eyes to see just how good life is, even in the difficulty. It’s not easy—yet what we’re dealing with now will soon be a memory; take a moment to look around and just be in it.

Gregory and Vincent are both undergoing significant changes in life, changes that are both exciting and demanding.

On this episode, they discuss the importance of documenting life in the highs and the lows, for the highs serve as reminders of the good times, yet documenting life in the lows reminds us just how much we’ve made it through.

In this conversation, Vincent and Gregory also discuss various strategies for dealing with personal challenges and overwhelming emotions.

Timing will never be perfect to do what we're meant to do in life, what we know in our hearts we must. Yet action begets action; when we begin, things fall into place, not the other way around.

They explore the concept of departmentalizing thoughts and emotions, finding outlets during the seasons of life which we just can’t handle, and learning to handle intense emotions.
