It's time for a recap! 🙌 From October 4th to 6th, CFFP hosted the dialogue workshop on “Countering trans* and intersex exclusionary narratives within progressive movements”🔥🏳️🌈. It was the first workshop we hosted in our new office space since we moved here earlier this year! We invited friends from different LGBTQI* and specifically trans* and intersex organisations together with some representatives of women’s rights organisations into our team home and spent three very productive and lovely days together💜. The main goal of the workshop was to come together with all these diverse organisations and address the ever growing issue of trans* and intersex exclusive “feminists”, also known as TERFs. One of our key takeaways from the workshop: we need more cross-movement exchange and support as well as more space for collective growth, solidarity, and sharing of queer joy🌈☀️! ❗ And let’s be clear: if your “feminism” does not include trans* and intersex identities, it is no feminism!
