Montreal’s Vantablack Warship, a powerhouse in the Quebec underground scene, have recently unleashed their latest album, Last of the Hardmouthed Poets, this past April via Bam & Co. Comprised of members from renowned bands like Les Ekorchés and Leprocy, they deliver a solid wall of thrash, hardcore, and groove. The album is a reminder to not take freedom for granted of expression and freedom of thought for; it also refers to the ending eras, dying races, losing generations, and cherishing those who remain. Today (22nd), the group has teamed up with Metal Insider to share a video for their single, “Inside His Mind.”

Vocalist Yannick “Pil” Pilon comments:

“Fuckin’ thrash riff! I really like my vocals on this song. When the choruses arrive it opens up so much! We added sharp and dissonant guitars! It’s got that thrashy groove that fans of Lamb of God will instantly connect with. It’s a banger from start to finish! The track is a reflection of sorts from a suicidal person, silence, and secrecy. We don’t provide an answer, but only issues.”
