[Overview of how the feature works]
- With Memberships Gifting, channel members can purchase a pre-set number of 'gift memberships', which YouTube will distribute to top fans of your channel (who are not yet members). Gift recipients can access memberships perks for 1-month, free of charge. Gift memberships are available to purchase on live streams only, by clicking the $ button on live chat (same as Super Chat).

- To be eligible to receive a gift, viewers on your channel must opt-in (one-time). Viewers can opt-in by clicking 1) 'Allow Gifts' on gift purchase announcements directly in Live Chat feed, OR 2) gift symbol pinned on Live Chat ticker.
- Gift memberships will be priced on your channel at $5 if you have a $5 level, or the next closest price point available below $5. [to be eligible for Memberships Gifting Beta - you must have an eligible price level of $5 or below, and your Levels must have a Level Name. You can edit Level Names in the Memberships tab in Studio.]
