Dr. Rakhshinda Perveen is a physician turned social development practitioner, trainer, university teacher, activist, researcher, and writer. She has been recognized as a Thoughtpreneur, Healthpreneur, Mompreneur, and Social Entrepreneur. She was also the first woman anchor for live current affairs morning shows on the state-owned PTV/Pakistan Television Network, and she produced an award-winning TV series, 'Gender Watch,' from 1999 to 2000. Her academic background includes degrees in medicine from Pakistan, Public Health/MPH from the Royal Tropical Institute in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, a Diploma in Population & Development from Lucy Cavendish College, Cambridge, UK, and Diploma in Gender Violence, Peace, and Security in humanitarian settings from Ghent University, Belgium. She is also a BIARI fellow of Brown University US. Additionally, she is an Ashoka Fellow for Leading Social Entrepreneurs (US), Friedrich Naumann Leadership Fellow (Germany), and Legislative Fellow (US). Currently, she is the founder of four unique entrepreneurial initiatives: Creative Anger by Rakhshi, a social enterprise committed to courage for intellectual risks; Chamber of Women Social Entrepreneurs, aimed at empowering women and marginalized communities; Apna Wallet Think Tank, geared towards psychologically and financially empowering women and contributing towards public policy; and Kafe Kaam (Joy of Work), a platform that initially started as a coworking space dedicated to transgender people and single and stigmatized women, and has now transitioned into a digital platform that creates purposeful podcasts, particularly focusing on stranded Pakistani Biharis, their genocide, and the rape of women in her community. #BREAKINGNEWS: #IRAN #Israel Israeli missiles have hit a site in Iran, ABC News reported late on Thursday, citing a US official, while Iranian state media reported an explosion in the center of the country, days after Iran launched a retaliatory drone strike on Israel. - Iran’s Fars news agency said an explosion was heard at an airport in the central city of Isfahan but the cause was not immediately known. - Iran suspended flights over the cities of Isfahan, Shiraz and Tehran, state media reported. - Several Iranian nuclear sites are located in Isfahan province, including Natanz, centerpiece of Irans uranium enrichment program. - Israel had said it would retaliate, opens new tab  against Iran's weekend attack, which involved hundreds of drones  and missiles in retaliation for a suspected Israeli strike on its embassy compound in Syria. - Most of the Iranian drones and missiles were downed before reaching Israeli territory. -Analysts and observers have been raising concerns about the risks of the Israel-Gaza war spreading into the rest of the region.
