Faux podcast clips as a service

someone build this

Going on a podcast is a great way to lift authority within a niche or industry.

If you’re lucky, from one podcast you might be able to pull 5-20 clips and push them out over the course of weeks/months on your social channels.

I’m seeing more and more creators pushing content that are very likely staged podcasts clips. Talking as if they’re talking to an interviewer, instead of directly at camera.

I think this is popular because the clips feels more authoritative. “wow, this persons been on a podcast”.

But also, the answer and message comes off a lot more naturally as an answer to a question, rather than lecturing to a camera.

It got me thinking, what about Faux Podcast Clips As-A-Service?

  1. You go to website and choose a package, 10 questions 20 questions. Use SPP to take payments and track orders.

  2. Enter details about you, who you are, your service, topics you want to talk about, topics you want to focus on.

  3. Service operator goes away and crafts 10-20 interesting questions based off this brief. Find a writer on Upwork.

  4. They then send you a video link (using VideoAsk or similar) where you use your computer webcam to answer these questions. As an upgrade the service could offer answer scripting too.

  5. You submit all the answers once you’re happy with them.

  6. Service operator then goes and creates shorts from all of the answers. They clip the pauses, boring bits, and keep the best bits. Find a shorts creator on Fiverr.

  7. You receive a file of 10-20 shorts from your ‘faux podcast’ ready to post and elevate your authority.

Just needs a good name and pricing. Promote on Twitter and Linkedin. Cold outreach, cold email. Lmk if you build it.
