JOB MISSION

We are looking to add a sales growth engine to our team, working directly with our sales team to plan and implement cost-effective solutions to drive our sales. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who wants to grow and develop in a sales team alongside detail-oriented, experienced and passionate sales, marketing, and customer experience professionals within a startup environment.

CONTRIBUTIONS

  • Support the Business Development Team in closing deals with organizations such as corporations, foundations and public entities to increase our number of innovation and entrepreneurship programs in the region.
  • Research the United States Market to find trends in the entrepreneurship ecosystem and insights about potential clients.
  • Use cold outreach and outbound tactics to identify strong potential prospects in the United States Market for the Business Development Team.
  • Support the Business Development Team in managing all aspects of the sales lifecycle including prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals, ensuring client’s needs are met throughout the process.
  • Manage, nurture and convert inbound leads into sales opportunities.
  • Responsible for meeting monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Work closely with our Marketing team to develop lead generation, lead nurturing or brand awareness initiatives to increase the quantity and quality of the sales funnel.
  • Work closely with our Relations Success team to ensure alignment and perfect delivery of the programs sold.
  • Analyzing sales data to inform or update marketing and sales strategies. *

For this role in particular:

Hard skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business discipline or similar.
  • Native English Speaker. Prociency in Spanish.
  • 1- 3 years of consultive sales experience with proven track record.
  • Strong research and lead generation skills.
  • Well-versed in using sales software (drive, trello, slack, hubspot)
  • Knowledge and/or interest in entrepreneurship, incubation programs, social impact, a must.

Soft skills:

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills (People like you, listen to you, and trust you!)
  • Persuasive communication, self-aware, transparent, collaborative, and open to feedback.
  • You’re success-driven, passionate, a go-getter, willing to work within a team environment & flexible (remember - we’re a startup).
  • Understand and could adapt to US culture.

A plus

  • Established contacts and relationships with potential customers United States highly desired.
  • Previous experience in the entrepreneurship ecosystem

RECRUITMENT PROCESS

  • Process: 30min intro call, business case, 1 hour technical interview to review business case, reference check, mutual interview and offer.
  • Location: This position is Remote. Most of our team resides in Latam or Spain so for time zone & proximity purposes we want to grow a team in these regions. Ideally the candidate resides in Guatemala City or Antigua Guatemala where we have team members already but are open to other cities in Latam or Spain.
  • Start date: as soon as we find the right person.
  • Contract type: Consultant (Paid holidays)

- Compensation and bonus

  • Compensation of $26,000 - $28,000 per year, depending on profile.
  • Transparent salaries and fair compensation structure, mid-range for the social sector. $200 Referral Bonus. If you bring someone you know to the team you will get $100 bonus at hire + $100 additional after 6 months
