What We’re Doing

A recent study by Plaid and Accenture found that 47% of U.S. companies reported investing in plans to launch embedded finance offerings in the near future. And while there has been a proliferation of service providers competing to power many aspects of embedded finance, including account provisioning, card issuance, and payments – the cash storage opportunity inherent in nearly all such products remains primarily untapped.

At StoneCastle Digital, we’re building the deposit platform for a world where every company will be a fintech company. Our deposit platform, Cambr, which currently processes and holds billions of client cash, was purpose-built to solve the liquidity pain points for any participant in embedded finance. Our vendor-agnostic open platform enables new monetization channels and provides scalable cash storage with FDIC-insured safety to any business that holds cash for its customers.

What you’ll do

  • Identify and act on new business opportunities. Develop pipeline from inbound referrals and outbound prospecting and own the complete sales cycle through close
  • Create and nurture key opportunities. Develop strong customer and consultive relationships at all levels within critical strategic partners
  • Be your own champion. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Technology, and Operations, to structure, execute and drive business initiatives forward
  • Lead sales discussions, managing complex business-related issues that may arise from contract negotiation through client on-boarding
  • Advance and refine sales infrastructure, systems, processes, and training programs to support the success of your sales team

What you’ll bring

  • 5-10+ years of client-facing experience as a strategic and analytical thinker abstracting complex ideas into clear frameworks
  • End-to-end negotiation experience, including identifying, developing, and executing complex transactions with counterparties ranging from startup to enterprise
  • Strong presentation and communication skills for both virtual and in-person meetings with a range of stakeholders
  • Passion for proactively analyzing the business, uncovering trends and shifts in the market, and prospecting emerging channels
  • Strong understanding of the fintech and digital banking ecosystem, with bonus points for familiarity with the deposit, treasury / liquidity management, and bank regulatory landscape
  • Ability to work independently with a results-oriented approach and a bias toward action
  • Evidence of progressive career development with increasing job scope and responsibility
  • Experience at a top financial institution or large tech organization is a plus
