Erin Eileen Leigh is the author of the nonfiction parenting book, Navigating the Newborn Months and Beyond: A Mother's Guide to Routine, Sleep, Fussiness and Self-Care. Erin's book was a recipient of the prestigious Mom’s Choice Awards (MCA) Gold Award in 2022. Navigating the Newborn Months and Beyond was also a 2022 finalist for the IAN Book of the Year Awards in the category of parenting/family/relationships and was featured in the popular Moms & Babes subscription boxes for mothers. Erin is a contributing writer for Her View From Home, Motherly, and Motherzing magazine. She enjoys speaking and writing about motherhood, babies, parenting, and self-care. Erin has been a guest on The Motherhood Metamorphosis Podcast and Parents Who Write Podcast and has been a featured speaker for several community events. Erin is the proud mother of three sons and one daughter. She was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Erin attended Vanderbilt University for her undergraduate education, where she competed in Division 1 cross country and track and field. She attended Loyola University Chicago School of Law where she received her J.D. She had a successful career practicing transactional health care law for twelve years before transitioning to her writing career. Erin enjoys swimming, running, reading, hiking, playing the piano, and spending time outdoors as much as possible.
