The Artist Life: Featured Artist Allison Adams

Painter Allison Adams, founder of Groundbreaking Girls, inspired by her female subjects growing up, extended her research and found strength and empowerment in the stories of trailblazing women. By overcoming a personal family tragedy, she learned first-hand how ART truly does heal. The exhibition features a menagerie of original small, medium and large portraits as well as a collection of small prints. Her award winning “Cloud of Witness” short film is an educational accompaniment.

A portion of all art sales supports arts education programs at The Muck.

If you are interested in purchasing artwork or would like to schedule a curatorial walk-through, please contact Lisa M. Berman at curator@themuck.org.
