3 questions to ask before hitting Publish 1. Is this helpful to my audience? 2. Is what I've written clear or confusing? 3. Is this helping me grow my brand's authority? Use this as a checklist whenever you write = you'll win 😇
📌 Despite its simplicity, scoring 3/3 on this list is hella hard. Especially doing so every time you write...
How to do the things Jasmin says you should do: 1. Help your audience + Know who your audience are 😋 + Stick to one topic + Make it actionable Wondering what to write about? Write about something you learned that people a step or two behind are desperate to know. Some will pay for your knowledge. 2. Be clear Clarity is being able to see things. Two things that makes things clear: + Specificity + Contrast Specificity = What IS IT? Contrast = What is it NOT? Clarity in language typically comes from: + using familiar words + which are usually the short words 3. Growing brand authority Authority is being knowledgeable and credible: + show results + make hard things simple [only possible with a lot of knowledge] + show social proof With authority you reduce friction because authority is a shortcut people use to judge whether they should take action or not.
I also ask myself, would I read my post? If my answer is no, I discard it. Is that something you typically take into account, Jasmin Alić?
4. (ask this one AFTER hitting Publish): Did I answered their questions in the comments section? Don't be afraid to go a step further and consolidate the first 3 points even more after you published your post.
Also, ensuring that what you wrote is crisp and short in paragraphs works better. What do you say, Jasmin Alić?
Once you do this, ask this, what's in it for my targeted audience? You will allow to circle back again to these 3 questions again.
Where should I put this now? At the back of my mind or at the front of my mind? Anyways I'll be mindful of this. Thanks Jasmin for sharing this. Your post definitely ticked these three boxes
I would add one more to this. 4. Does this align with my brand values and messaging?
