#DYK that by fostering #genderequality at work, #India can boost its GDP by 18%, equivalent to an additional $770 billion?   To help realize this potential, IFC - International Finance Corporation today launched the India Gender Collaborative program with generous support from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The program will work with partners across the private sector to help recruit, retain, and promote more women.   In collaboration with The World Bank, International Labour Organization and UN Women, the year long program will increase women’s employment in #India by working with companies to :   ✅ Empower more women in leadership ✅ Cultivate inclusive workplace cultures ✅ Fuel economic expansion and inclusivity   The program will equip businesses with practical steps to close the #gendergap in recruitment, retention, and promotion.
