I live in the weather crazed Midwest where we experience hot Summers and cold Winters. I’m starting to think Spring and Fall is a beautiful made up fantasy. I share my life with my wonderful husband who despite my begging and pleading won’t grow his beard out. I have three teenagers, two girls and a boy, and two mouthy malamutes, that are always keeping me on my toes, and never stop eating.

My earliest memory of writing was when I was in the second grade and my teacher encouraged us to write a book. I remember my whole world changed that day. I was certain books grew from a library tree. From that moment on I never stopped writing.

Writing also feeds my pen addiction. I am always in need of new pens, and when life gives me lemons, I buy pens and write.

Outside of writing I can be found reading, looking for new books to add to my every growing TBR, and watching BookTubers.

I hope you pick up my upcoming book, and don’t be a stranger, send me your thoughts, book suggestions, or opinions on pens.

ARC Review
Amber is a single mom of two. She moves back with her children to her hometown, where is reconnected with her first love, Luke. They haven’t seen each other for 15 years, but they still didn’t forget about each other. And when Luke sees Amber again, he’s determined to win her back.
Amber soon finds herself in tough situation when her ex-husband wants to take her children from her because of her unstable living situation. Then Luke comes to her rescue and offers her to move in into his house, and thanks to it she can show that she and her children have their own home.
Luke helps her a lot, spends a lot of time with her children, Emily and Matt. He also makes moves towards Amber, but she is resistant about them being together again.

This story was amazing, I really loved the plot, sometimes it was really unexpected and shocking. I also loved that the author focused also on showing the sweet and often funny relationship between Luke and his brothers.
And I can’t wait to read the books of his other brothers.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

Now he's back. She avoids him as much as she can,she wants to hate him for breaking her heart but deep down she knows she'll always love him but she will never trust or forgive him.She goes to check on her daughter Emily when her mom points an she sees Emily trying to get a cupcake then Luke steps up an gives her the pink cupcake with sprinkles an carries her over to her mom.She looks at her mom an asks if she's gonna dance with the giant Luke. She says no an tells her she doesn't want to dance .But when she looks like she's going to cry,Amber says one dance. Her ex is trying to cause trouble an Luke is getting under her skin. There are so many twists and turns to this story will keep you riveted until the very last page and leave you begging for more.I love the way this amazing author brings the characters to life before your eyes and makes you feel their emotions and their pain. Can Luke break through the walls Amber built around her? Will he earn her trust an love again?I can hardly wait to see what's next by this multi talented author.

The Peak Valley Forever series is quickly becoming one of the best series I have ever read. Amanda Lee Dixon is doing such a phenomenal job with this debut series of hers, each new release has me craving the next! The characters we follow and see intertwine throughout both books so far has been such an incredible journey to go on as we see each Brother’s story. In Fight Forever we get Luke Colson’s story.

Luke packed up and left Peak Valley years ago because he was forced too, and in doing so he broke the heart of his first and only love, Amber Baker. Amber is resistant to Luke’s charms when he’s back in town and as you slowly start to see her walls crumble, their chemistry is undeniable and unavoidable. The passion Amanda has inflamed between these two was simply striking. It is the type of passion you long for yourself and to see it unfold between them in this second-chance love story, was a sight to behold.

I also love all the side characters Amanda has brought to live like Burns. He is one of the best characters in the series and brings joy to me and a smile to my face. All of the interactions between Luke and Amber’s children are simply heart melting. Of course, getting to see Dawn and Clint again is always fun and now I can’t wait for Eric and Sarah’s story! Bravo Amanda on another amazing installment in the Peak Valley Forever series, I can’t wait to see what is next!

I enjoyed this second book in the Peak Valley Forever series even more than I did the first. Fifteen years ago, Luke Colson had a difficult choice to make and ended up losing the love of his life, Amber Baker. Amber, now divorced, has returned to Peak Valley with her two children, but has no intention of having anything to do with Luke. When her ex begins making her life difficult, she finally accepts Luke’s offer of a home for her and her children. Luke slowly begins to show Amber that he is truly sorry for leaving her and when her life may be in danger, Luke and his brothers are there to protect her. A heartwarming romance with a touch of suspense, lovable interaction between the brothers who survived a rough childhood and two darling children…what more could you ask for? Book two in the Peak Valley series, we pick up a few months after book one. I love the writing of this family; I could not put it down.

Amber and Luke have a history, we saw glimpses of them in book one, and now we get the whole story. Fifteen years ago, they were in love, due to outside forces Luke leaves. Now Amber is a single mother with two kids and working to get past her struggles. Luke has returned from the military and they are now reunited; he is pushy and she equally stubborn. The way Luke interacts with her kids is endearing. Will they get past the speed bumps and get their second chance?

I enjoyed the threads of the secondary characters as we get to keep up with Dawn and Clint, the shenanigans of Burns, and I cannot wait to learn Eric and Sarah’s story.

These Colson Brothers are the Bomb!!

“Will you dance with Luke? He’s my new friend.” Her toothless smile is smeared with icing. “Did you know he’s a giant?” she stage-whispers with wide eyes.

Luke left Peek Valley years ago and broke her heart. Now he’s back and he wants to start over.

“Might as well duke it out here, we’ll just eavesdrop on you both,” Burns says, still holding his camera, ready to capture the drama.

Amber Baker went on with her life after he left. Her kids are her life now. She won’t let herself be hurt again.

Everything just blends together in this beautiful love story. The romance, suspense, character interaction make for the perfect escape read.

ONG I love Burns he is a hoot.

“I ain’t here to help, I’m here to watch my boys paint Emily’s room pink sparkles,” he says, returning the kiss to my cheek before holding up a dated Polaroid camera. “I’m getting it all on camera to use against them when they piss me off.”

This is book 2 in the Peak Valley Forever series. I love This family! The boys had a rough childhood due to their alcoholic abusive father. But they had a great support group and tried hard to rise above their childhood. The boys going back and forth banter is so incredibly entertaining. I have several laugh out loud moments with each book. Luke and Amber are thrown back together after being apart for 15 years. Luke wants her back and will stop at nothing to make her and her children happy. I love Their chemistry and how much Luke loves her. This series is extremely entertaining and sexy. I can’t wait to read the next book!

Luke has returned to Peak valley after a 15 year absence and is desperate to rekindle his relationship with Amber.
Amber is determined to keep away from Luke after he broke her heart. She's a divorcee with 2 children and only wants the best for them.
I thought Amber's character was so likeable she's finally looking out for herself and the kids. Luke's bond with the little people had me seriously swooning and his way of getting to Amber fantastic.
I'm loving this series and can't wait to read more from the brothers.

This is the second book in the Peak Valley Forever series, an enjoyable read with romance, hot sex scenes and a twist for good measure. After being apart for fifteen years, this is a second chance for a happy ever after for Amber Baker and Luke Colson. Luke keeps you entertained with his antics and determination to win Ambers heart back. Burns the crusty old man who became a second father to Luke and his brothers when their parents died was a character with his wit and sarcasm. I also loved the camaraderie between the four Colson brothers and I'm looking forward to reading more about their lives in the coming two books.

What an amazing follow-up story!

Amanda Lee Dixon grabbed my attention with the first story in the Peak Valley Forever, Protect Forever, and I couldn't wait to read more about Amber and Luke. Dixon is one of those authors who kind of sneaked up on me, and I truly can't wait for the reading community to discover her also.

Book two picks up with the wedding of Alvin and Janet and how very awkward it is for Luke and Amber to be there. The tension is thick, but this family is about as genuine as it gets. You can't help but to love Alvin Burns and all the brothers!

With trouble looming from Amber's ex, you know that Luke isn't going to stand for any harm where Amber is concerned. Not wanting to let her guard down, Amber finally gives in to Luke and I wanted so badly for these two to give their love another shot. We knew what they once had and I hoped they'd be able to work it out.

Dixon did a remarkable job with this second-chance romance and she left my heart feeling all proud at the end. Lots of emotions and bitterness to overcome, Luke and Amber is one couple you want like crazy to work things out. Love what Dixon did with this series and I look forward to more from this author!

As I quickly got into the book and started to get to know Luke Colson and Amber Baker, I was absolutely enthralled with the story line! ‘Fight forever’ follows Luke and Amber whose failed relationship never quite ended. Despite Amber marrying and having two children, she has never forgotten Luke, nor has he ever gotten over her. When Luke returns to Peak Valley, he sees it as an opportunity to begin again, yet Amber’s past threatens any future then may have.
Not having read Book one, I must admit that there were a few moments when the different characters confused me; however, I really enjoyed this story, with the intensity of Amber and Luke’s relationship, evident from the start. The complexity of their relationship is emotionally laid out, with family members getting involved. Both characters were well explored, and I look to more from Amanda Lee Dixon.
I received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

Quick read meaning read in one day. Enjoyed the book however at times felt like 2 different people writing it. The sections outside the sex scenes were very well thought out & well written.
Except for each chapter was written from the viewpoint of the 2 main characters separately. Several times had to go back to first page of the chapter to double check whose viewpoint I was reading. Great story line -now want to read first in the series & rest of the series. Great Character development for the families involved.

Fight Forever is the second book in the Peak Valley Forever series and just as amazing as the first book was. This book has it all; charming characters, suspense, humor, second-chance romance, and small-town romance. It was well written, fast-paced with a developed storyline. My attention was caught right away and now I’m looking forward to the next book in the series.

I received an ARC and am willingly leaving a review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I'm a sucker for a good second-chance romance. Throw some danger into the mix and I knew  Fight Forever was going to be my very first read from Amanda Lee Dixon. The opening alone put me back in the mindset of first, young, innocent love...
Flash forward a decade and that is where things pick up. And they aren't quite as happy or hopeful. For both Amber and Luke. I liked Amber's tenacity. How she wasn't going to let the curve balls life kept throwing her way get in the way of her children's happiness. Even if it meant swallowing her pride and taking Luke up on his offer to help out.

The dynamic changed between Luke and Amber pretty fast, even if she was reluctant for it. But it was Luke's relentlessness and the way he cared for her kids that did her in. She couldn't resist what her heart was telling her. And with threats looming and the danger mounting, it was all they could do to try and stay one step ahead.

I'll admit, I found my heart pounding more than once while reading (which I love). But I wanted more of a surprise of who was behind all the mayhem. Amanda Lee Dixon made it pretty clear early on who was pulling the strings. That being said, I did not see this getting as twisted as it did. From start to finish Amber and Luke's intense and emotional second-chance romance had me rooting for them. And I was more than satisfied with how things panned out.

Amanda Lee Dixon has done it again! Pulled me right from the start with amazing, well-developed characters, great narration, and an interesting plot. I devoured this, just like the first novel in this series.
Who doesn't love a second-chance romance? After a miscommunication and fallout, Luke is back in Amber's life after 15 years and is trying his best to win back her heart. Amber has never stopped loving him, but it takes time for her to let her guard down and let him in. They not only must deal with their romance budding once again, but external forces trying to tear them apart and make life harder than it already is. Add in some intense make-up sex, a scheming ex husband, two adorable children, and the whole gang of Colson boys and Fight Forever makes for a tantalizing, addicting second novel in the Peak Valley Forever series.

This is Luke and Amber’s story. She is divorced now and he wants her back. She was the only woman he has loved. Of course her ex is a jerk. I can not wait to read the other books in the series.
