Discover the Simple Skills that Will Boost Your Kid's Resilience and Mental Health, Help Them Recover from the Stress of the Pandemic and Prepare Them to Thrive

Are you worried about your child’s mental health after 18 months of pandemic life?

Are you concerned that you have somehow “dropped the ball”?

Are you worried that there’s some lesson or experience your child has missed that will damage their ability to thrive and be happy in the future?

You are not alone.

As a parent, I’ve stayed awake worrying about these same issues. I’ve also spoken with numerous parents like you in recent months and hear similar concerns about the stress their kids have been under and their mental health.

You want to know that you child will recover without being set back in life, stronger than ever, and ready to thrive as the move forward in the world.

Amidst all the worry about our kids and their future, there’s good news.

The pandemic (and the stress it has put on our kids) has provided us with a unique opportunity to prepare them to be ready for anything life throws at them, now and in the future.

That’s all we want, right? We want to know our kids will be okay. We want to know they aren’t suffering. We want to know they won’t crumble the next time things get tough.

We want them to be confident and resilient in the face of stress.

I know society has taught us that stress is poison, and of course, it’s a parent’s job to protect their kids from poison. But stress is not a toxin.

Stress is a tool.

And, just like any tool, it can be hazardous if you don’t know how to handle it. But you also can’t build without it.

Stress builds mental health in the same way that exercise builds body health.

If you overdo it or exercise when you’re already injured, it can cause real damage. In the same way, if you encounter too much stress without the proper support, if you try to handle too much when you’re already feeling the strain, stress can also damage you.  All that is true, and so is this…

If we support them right, the stresses our kids face today will strengthen our kids for all their tomorrows.

As parents, we’re scared that our kids are not okay. We’re scared that the world has thrown too much at them and that we don’t know how to protect them.

However, this unbelievably hard year and a half has given them one huge advantage. Our kids can take away a lot from this time to help them face future upheavals.

If we simply know how to help them, they can rise from this trying time stronger than ever.

This period of time has been HARD. But it can also be beneficial.

I will show you how.

Introducing…

Ready for Anything:
How to Build Confidence, Resilience, and Mental Health in Your Kids

Ready for Anything is a three-part online seminar. It’s a deep dive and group coaching program where I will guide you from worrying about your child or teen’s resilience, happiness, and mental health to sleeping easy again about their ability to navigate the challenges of life and enjoy a happy future.

This is your chance to work with me to get the same expertise I provide to my own patients and their families.

During this three-week implementation seminar, I’ll explain kids’ reactions, answer your questions and provide steps you can follow to get control over the interactions happening in your home.

This program gives you clear answers and a wide array of strategies for you to choose from depending on you and your children’s needs.

I’ve helped parents who were going from day to day just hoping everything would be alright, with no idea how to help their child. After just the first of these three seminars, parents tell me that they can finally sleep again.

Here’s How the Workshop Works

Sundays

September 12, 19, and 26

Hi, I'm Dr. G

In my work as a board-certified attending family physician, I’ve identified the number one thing that leads to the best health and life outcomes for our kids: resilience.

I work with parents to teach them the mindset and strategies to transform stress into a tool that builds mental health, confidence, and (most importantly) resilience in their kids.

You might be wondering why you should listen to me. I’ve talked about these topics regularly on TODAY, Good Morning America, and many other news programs. I’m also a co-host and resident Resilience Expert for The Doctors. I’ve created and delivered two TEDx talks on the topics of stress and resilience. I’m frequently featured in the Washington Post and The New York Times, in Forbes Magazine, Consumer Reports, and countless other digital and print outlets.

I know this topic inside out. But most of all, this work is important to me. You are the right person to guide your kids, because no one loves or knows your kids like you do. I’m the right person to guide you, because I know how to help you reach the goals you have for them. We are at the best possible moment to strengthen our kids for the future. We don’t need to waste time worrying about them, we need to focus on the strategies that will help them now and in their futures.

Future-Proof Your Kids and Finally Let Go of the Worry so that You Can Sleep Easy

These online seminars will transform your outlook towards your child’s stress and mental health and your approach to parenting by helping you to…

  1. Identify what’s happening with your child or teen at any given moment.

  1. Stop worrying about your child’s ability to thrive and grow in life.

  1. Take action to protect your child’s mental health.

  1. Remove the fear and helplessness from watching your child struggle.

  1. Feel confident in your parenting.

  1. Future-proof your kids against whatever comes in their lives.

  1. Enjoy your family instead of trying to constantly predict and manage the next steps.

 s

Right Now You Have a Unique Opportunity

The skills you’ll learn will apply to any time of your child’s life. You and your kids will benefit from them for years to come.

But right now, there is an especially crucial need (and opportunity) to check in with our kids and strengthen them for the future.

Why? Three reasons.

  1. This year rocked our kids’ worlds. Many of them are hurting right now.

  2. This September is the window. It’s been a summer of recovery, but this school year is going to hit hard and fast with “catch up” and “get back to normal,” and “improve your scores.” All this will hurt them more if we don’t learn to protect and strengthen them right now.

  3. We have a once in their lifetime chance to use this awful experience for good.  Our kids will go through other periods of upheaval and disruption in their lives. We can give them the skills we learned in this time to get through those if we teach them right now.
