MAKE 2024 COUNT

reflect on your last year
and plan the next one

Join us on Sunday December 17th at 2pm ET for our fourth-annual "New Year’s Mental Balcony" event: Make 2024 Count!

    11am PT | 2pm ET | 8pm CT

I joined this experience to push myself into a mode of self exploration that i had been out of touch with for years. I feel clearer on who I am and where I am going on the other side of things.

Franzi and Ted facilitate magic. It’s hard to create crisp experiences that are both playful and diligent. But Franzi and Ted have a way with these things and make it easy. If you meet them halfway, the experience invites you into a garden — making the ordinary, exotic.

The Bravespace experience took me to places that I would have never naturally gone myself. The both reflective and practical prompts helped me implement meaningful change into my life.

    What’s Make 2024 Count?

    • Make 2024 Count is a 2-hour facilitated journaling experience that 1,000+ people from 52 countries have gone through.

    • It's designed to help you reflect deeply on what you learned in 2023 and make bold, intentional plans for 2024.

    • Over the course of two hours, you and hundreds of other like-minded journaling sojourners around the world will be asked uncomfortably provocative questions that will support you in accessing a level of innate truth and clarity that most people would have a hard time finding on their own.

All you need to bring is a journal, a pen, a warm beverage, and a present open mind.

We'll bring the journaling prompts, the time-keeping, the good vibes, and great company!

      introspection.

      reflect & plan.

      • You want to set goals for 2024 before 2024 actually starts.

      • You don't keep a regular journal or reflection practice, but would like to.

      • You do keep a regular journal and want to take your practice to the next level.

      • You hold yourself to high standards of performance but rarely take time for introspection.

      • You want to live a more intentional life but aren't sure what questions to ask yourself.

      • You've been avoiding important truths in your life and are ready for a higher level of self-honesty.

      • Your past year has put you and many around you under new kinds of stress, trauma, emotions, and you aspire to get back in the driver's seat.

      • You have an otherwise jam-packed holiday season and would appreciate a compressed, accelerated way to reflect on your life's direction.

      This is for YOU if…

Is this a private or group journaling experience?

Make 2024 Count is hosted on Zoom as a group video call.

Many people will join excited to participate in the community aspect of this gathering: using the public chat as their journal, coming "on stage" to share vulnerable or inspiring breakthroughs, and supporting others with private messages and emoji reactions.

But some prefer to take advantage of the facilitated journaling prompts privately, and for that Zoom has "Camera Off" and "Mute" buttons!

      What’s the backstory here?

We will speak very little during this event - it's not about us, it's about you. But in case you're wondering who's behind this...

      We're Franzi and Ted.

Married couple, co-parenting 3 rowdy wonderful boys. We both work full-time--Franzi as a leadership coach and healer to high performing tech executives and political operatives, and Ted as a startup growth exec. We do our best to live our life intentionally, especially because it can often get pretty chaotic.

Each December for the last several years, we've given our kids to Franzi’s parents for a half-day to deeply reflect on the year's events, and plan the year ahead. We often precede it with a workout, nature walk, and some Wim Hof breathing before snuggling up into a cozy spot with a warm drink for a few hours of radical self-inquiry and journaling. It’s an incredibly potent way for us to cultivate alignment and connection in our relationship to each other, and to ourselves.

At the end of 2020, we decided to invite a few friends to do this with us over Zoom, but what started as a small idea ended up becoming a global event with hundreds of our friends, family, and colleagues, and so many good vibes!!! Loved ones from around the world gathered to journal together in unison. It was magical.

The success of this event led us to produce a dozen more like it, each centered on important life themes, and now thousands of people have journaled through powerful life questions—together! The community is called Leadership That Heals The World (formerly ‘Bravespace’) and it’s been the highlight of our year to bring friends together in such an intimate way during the pandemic.

Join us on December 17 to Make 2024 Count.
