It's been a while since we've updated the blog section here on catharia.com and there have been some exciting developments over the past several months.
Today (December 6th, 2024) our brand new sophomore album, Unimaginable Dreams of Fate, is officially out!
Earlier this year we signed on with Rockshots Records under their Extreme Metal Music division. This is a special moment in time for Catharia. We started off with one self-released album and now only two years later our second album is being professionally released. It is a great feeling that we have not taken for granted and are using it for writing inspiration on our next album, which is already beginning to have some rough demos recorded. We are hoping for another two year cycle.
You can catch us promoting Unimaginable Dreams of Fate in a plethora of interviews in written, audio, and video format over the next several weeks.
Thanks to everyone who has supported us thus far. Whether you've interviewed us, reviewed the album, liked/shared/commented on posts to help with the algorithms, showed your friends & family, or listened to/purchased our music. Thank you.

“This was an excellent album. It wasn’t just an overly aggressive ride through a conventional Black Metal path, it was a creative and modern approach to the genre. The album kept the listener on their toes throughout, alternating between passages of pure fear and others that were just laced with tension. The aggression was there for sure, in spades at times, but the band knew when to pour gasoline onto the fire and when to snuff it out.”

Lastly, we are looking into making our first music video to help boost the reach of the new album.
